Delicious Pasta Dishes Almost Fully Unveiled with ES Plastic
The latest development from ES-Plastic, a manufacturer of packaging solutions made of plastic, is a transparent MAP tray made from recyclable polypropylene.
12 Nov 2009 --- Fine pasta creations are best shown in a tray that hides nothing. Stable and attractive packaging allows them to show themselves at their best, from all sides. Whether Italian noodles, Swabian filled pasta squares or even meat dishes like Zurich-style veal strips in a cream sauce - everything works towards piquing the customer's interest in buying. The latest development from ES-Plastic, a manufacturer of packaging solutions made of plastic, is a transparent MAP tray made from recyclable polypropylene.
Hygienic and tasteless tray, chicly packed
The new pasta tray has a number of positive properties, from the visual factors to practical advantages. PP is absolutely tasteless and offers break resistance and a high level of dimensional stability. The design is also pleasing - a minimally recessed rib structure, the completely flat bottom and the unusual shape with strongly rounded corners set this model apart from current trays. Ideal for exclusive product presentation at the sales counter.
Technical details and handling
Two standard tray sizes are available for different filling capacities: 230 x 180 x 30 mm or 230 x 180 x 50 mm. The volume is corresponding 889 ml or 1,459 ml, sufficient for up to two servings. The foil is sealed under MAP conditions, which increases the shelf-life, but a matching lid can also be produced upon request. There are no limits to the possible colors, because all hues and custom colors can be produced, in addition to the standard transparent model. Thanks to the A/B stacking, the trays are ideal for machine processing with no jamming.
