DARÉGAL invests 12 million euros in new Spanish site
DARÉGAL, in partnership with local farmers, aims to grow more than 500 hectares of aromatic herbs, with the main focus being on basil and Mediterranean herbs such thyme and rosemary etc.
12 Mar 2010 --- On April 9 2010, DARÉGAL will open its new factory, which will have a capacity of 100 tonnes of fresh herbs per day, at Santaella in Spain. This factory will be the largest and most modern unit for freezing aromatic herbs in the world to date.
Always at the forefront of technology, DARÉGAL has constructed its new factory in line with the most stringent of quality standards: the air in the high pressure workshops is micro-filtered, the water used is filtered to 1 micron and production follows the principle of workflow from dirty to clean areas.
