Country Style launches next generation of coffee line
Adds espresso based specialty drinks to their line up.
31/01/06 Canada, Country Style launches into the next generation of coffee offerings by adding espresso based specialty drinks to their line up.
For more than 40 years Country Style has been serving freshly ground, freshly brewed coffee to millions of commuters and coffee lovers alike. On January 30th the chain announced it has launched authentic espresso based drinks, made from 100% Colombian beans. The line up includes cappuccinos, lattés, mocha lattés, along with a premium Belgian hot chocolate. The move positions Country Style as a competitor in the ever-aggressive Specialty Coffee Segment. Country Style has been testing the specialty drinks for over a year with great acceptance from consumers, who before now, had no alternative but to deal with long waits, high prices and confusing sizes at specialty operators. Now consumers can get the specialty drink they love in two traditional sizes at Country Style, medium (10 oz) and a large (16 oz) without worrying about hurting their pocket book.
To differentiate the Specialty product, Country Style introduced a new take out cup designed specifically for this product. The new cup features a sleeker, more modern look as well as a variation in their logo treatment. Of course in order to fully enjoy the beautiful foam that tops these specialty drinks, domed lids are required, this particular cup is adorned with a new, black domed lid.
