Oct 12 2010 --- The industry's leading enhanced water beverage maker announces its latest innovation, vitaminwater stur-D (blue agave - passion fruit citrus flavored blend), the very first enhanced water and juice beverage to include vitamin d and calcium, which help support strong bones, and vitamin c. Vitaminwater stur-D is also the first nationally available enhanced water and juice beverage with a blue color that's derived solely from fruit.
At a time when there is increased awareness around vitamin d and the fact that most american's don't get enough of it, vitaminwater adds a new member to its line of enhanced-hydration to address consumer needs. Each 8 fluid ounce serving contains 10% of the daily value (dv) for vitamin d and calcium, nutrients that help support strong bones, and 120% of the dv for vitamin c, which helps the body make collagen, which is needed to support joints. Additionally, each serving contains 40% of the dv of four essential b vitamins (b3, b5, b6, b12).
