CNI Obtains BRC Certification
The BRC (British Retail Consortium) specifies requirements for food safety, quality and assures the customer that the food manufacturer reaches the highest levels of competence in all critical areas.
09/04/09 CNI, Colloïdes Naturels International, the world leader in Acacia gum has announced that it has obtained BRC Global Standard for Food Safety certification.
The BRC (British Retail Consortium) is an international standard originally drawn up by supermarkets in the UK and is now a requirement to be able to supply food products in many countries. It specifies requirements for food safety, quality and assures the customer that the food manufacturer reaches the highest levels of competence in all critical areas.
CNI has ISO 9001 certification since 2003 (ISO 9002 since 1995), and has also developed a HACCP program. The company is focused on continuous improvement in Quality Management and constantly strives to offer more guarantees to its customers. CNI’s priorities are the control of the production process, product traceability, quality and safety, in order to fully satisfy its customers’ requirements.
