Cavaghan & Gray Celebrates Centenary With 100 Permanent Jobs

25 Oct 2012 --- Carlisle based Ready Meals producer Cavaghan & Gray, part of 2 Sisters Food Group, is celebrating its 100 year anniversary with news that it has added 100 permanent jobs to its workforce.

The site employs around 1000 people, with about 800 of these being Cavaghan & Gray employees and the remainder from an agency supplier, Staffline. Now, the business has increased the percentage of permanent Cavaghan & Gray employees to over 900 people. The site is also finalising its plans for additional employees in the run up to Christmas – Cavaghan & Gray produces ready meal accompaniments including prepared vegetables, ready made mash and party food.
