Cargill Targets Russian Ingredient Demands
Featuring prominently will be C*DeliTex, a UHT texturizer for improved processing conditions and cost-effectiveness, especially in catering applications. Cargill will also be showcasing biscuits made using cold water swelling (CWS) starches.
08/11/06 Cargill’s tailored texturizing and sweetness solutions for a wide range of applications will be on the Cargill stand at Ingredients Russia 2006 (Hall 8, stand number E017).
Cargill Texturizing Solutions offers an unrivalled range of texturizing ingredients and functional systems including starches, maltodextrins, cultures and enzymes, lecithins, BioActives, soy proteins and hydrocolloids. Based on these ingredients, Cargill Development Experts work with customers to formulate texturizing solutions for all applications in the food industry.
Featuring prominently will be C*DeliTex, a UHT texturizer for improved processing conditions and cost-effectiveness, especially in catering applications. Cargill will also be showcasing biscuits made using cold water swelling (CWS) starches, which can reduce costs in bakery products through lower doses.
And the Cargill expertise in ingredients doesn’t stop here: on the same stand you will be able to see products from Cargill Sweetness, who specialise in providing differentiated sweetness solutions with the right nutritional and sensorial profile.
The centrepiece for the stand will be Xtend Isomaltulose, a new sweetener that delivers the full energy of regular sugar (4 kcal/g) but is digested more slowly for sustained energy release and has a lower glycaemic response. Energy bars made with this product and C*Eridex (erythritol) in beverages will also be showcased at the stand.
From design, through development to manufacturing, Cargill is investing in Russia and Eastern Europe to bring the very best and most innovative solutions to its customers.
