05 Jun 2019 --- Danish dairy cooperative Arla Foods has formally completed the acquisition – announced in December 2018 – of Mondeléz International’s processed cheese business operations in the Middle East region, which is currently licensed under the Kraft brand. Arla Foods has announced that three of its processed cheese and sterilized cream production lines, from Denmark and Saudi Arabia, will be moved to a newly acquired site in the Manama, Bahrain, with an expressed production capacity exceeding 66,000 tons.
