American Dairy Announces Inclusion in Russell 3000 and Halter USX China Indices
Russell indexes are widely used by investment managers and institutional investors for index funds and as benchmarks for both passive and active investment strategies.
11/07/07 American Dairy, Inc. one of the leading producers and distributors of milk powder and soybean products in China, announced that it was added to the Russell 3000 index and the Halter USX China Index.

Membership in the Russell 3000, which remains in place for one year, means automatic inclusion in the large-cap Russell 1000 Index or the small-cap Russell 2000 Index, as well as the appropriate growth and value style indexes. Russell determines membership for its equity indexes primarily by objective, market-capitalization rankings and style attributes. The Halter USX China Index is comprised of companies whose common stock is publicly traded in the United States and the majority of whose business is conducted within the People's Republic of China. For a company to be included in the Halter USX China Index it must conduct a majority of its business in China, maintain an average market cap of over $50 million for the preceding 40 trading days, trade on the NYSE, Amex or NASDAQ and be approved by the USX Selection Committee.
