The newly expanded range of decorations includes marbled chocolate buttons available in small 1cm pieces suitable for inclusion in ice cream, 2cm conventional buttons for use in confectionery and giant 3cm buttons.
Feb 13 2012 --- ADM Cocoa has added to its high quality range of chocolate decorations, designed to appeal to manufacturers looking for a simple and effective way to distinguish their products on the shelves. The new chocolate marbled buttons and layered chocolate chunks offer customers a cost-effective way to boost the visual and sensory appeal of products and tap into the decorations trend.
The newly expanded range of decorations includes marbled chocolate buttons available in small 1cm pieces suitable for inclusion in ice cream, 2cm conventional buttons for use in confectionery and giant 3cm buttons. The marbled chocolate buttons are available in a variety of flavours, including milk and white chocolate or a fruity blend of strawberry and white chocolate. Tailored to the manufacturer’s needs, marbled buttons are also available in flavours to suit more adult tastes, such as extra dark chocolate with high cocoa solids blended with white chocolate.
ADM Cocoa is also launching layered chocolate chunks and ‘mega’ chocolate chunks. An innovation born from ADM’s popular range of standard chocolate and Belgian chocolate chunks, these two new additions allow manufacturers to create visually attractive products. The new layered chunks consist of two layers of dark and white chocolate, while the ‘mega’ chocolate chunks are 25mm x 25mm and can be used when formulating muffins and cookies.
Bringing functionality and creativity together, the new chocolate inclusions and decorations are designed for use in bakery and dairy products and offer manufacturers a cost-effective way to achieve the desired aesthetic, without investing in chocolate handling equipment. The decorations are also simple to use, and offer strong visual, flavour and textural impact.
Robin Waters, UK Sales Director, ADM Cocoa, comments, “Our chocolate decorations have grown in popularity in recent years, and we are proud to introduce the latest additions to our exciting range. We have seen significant growth in the in-store and bake-off markets and have developed these products with this in mind. We pride ourselves on making our customers more successful by streamlining their manufacturing. Our customers look to us for innovation and cost effectiveness, and we don’t want to disappoint.”
These latest additions to the rapidly expanding deZaan range further cement ADM Cocoa as the ‘one-stop’ chocolate supplier. Belgian chocolate, cocoa powder, cocoa liquor and cocoa butter, as well as chocolate flavoured coatings, chocolate chips and chocolate powder are also available for customers looking to create products with high visual impact. The latest innovations include D11EB, the darkest dry cocoa powder on the market today, UNICAO 3050, a mild-tasting cocoa liquor made from 100 per cent Ivory Coast cocoa beans, and UNICAO 1030, made from 100 per cent Ghana cocoa beans with a rich, intense flavour. The delicate deZaan Fresco Cacao range includes a cocoa powder and cocoa mass with reduced bitterness and mild fruity taste.
