DuPont Solutions Help Create Premium Positioning for Dairy Products in China
25 Aug 2016 --- DuPont Nutrition & Health will showcase what’s inside DuPont at the 2016 China Dairy Industry Association (CDIA) Annual Conference & Dairy Technology Exposition, by demonstrating its broad portfolio of functional ingredients and expertise, along with customized high-end product solutions.
“China’s liquid dairy market shows a strong trading up trends in recent years,” Amy Yang Tells FoodIngredientsFirst. “The total consumption volume of the market kept flat in recent three years while the total value still enjoyed a double digit increase. Fermented dairy products like yogurt and fermented dairy drinks grasps the market share from neutral products. Take yogurt segment as an example, 1/3 of its turnover is contributed by premium products.”
Yang adds: “Premium products are also looking for their differentiation dimensions from appearance, taste, texture, concept and function. DuPont N&H’s offerings could meet players’ needs from different angles.”

They will also be able to sample innovative and great-tasting premium samples, including pure probiotic fermented milk and drinking yogurts in different flavors.
At the conference in the afternoon of August 20, Weijia HE, senior group manager of the innovation team in China, DuPont Nutrition & Health, will speak on “Probiotics application & process technology of drinkable yogurt”. He will present topics including development of processing technology of probiotic drinking yogurt and how DuPont Danisco range of probiotics can help with the premium positioning for dairy products to create a competitive advantage in the marketplace.
