Fruit concepts with sugar-reducing benefits – Taura Natural Ingredients
12 Jan 2018 --- Taura Natural Ingredients is launching a number of new products which have sugar-reducing benefits on its three “axes of innovation.” Taura considers itself the no. 1 worldwide in concentrated fruit and would like to bring fruit to where it has not been before. The first innovation is tastes from around the world. “We actually allow you have a journey around the world with different taste sensations,” says Peter Forceville. The second innovation is to do with more natural, clean labels with fewer ingredients, and the third is “Taura as a vehicle” – using Taura as a carrier for other products such as supplements.

New Range of Fruit Ingredients for Artisanal Users
06 Feb 2013 --- Taura Natural Ingredients has launched a range of natural concentrated fruit pieces designed specifically for use by artisan chocolatiers, bakers and chefs. Marc Cautaerts, General Manager EMEA at Taura, said: “The bespoke solutions we create for most of our larger customers are not appropriate for artisan chocolate and bakery producers, so we have created Gourmet Series as an off-the-peg offer to meet their specific needs. It means all the benefits of our unique and high quality URC fruit ingredients – as well as our technical know-how – are now available for the first time in the craft chocolate and bakery market.” He continued: “Like all of our URC fruit ingredients, our new Gourmet Series pieces are made from real concentrated fruit and offer all the flavour, texture and goodness of fresh fruit. However, compared with fresh fruit they are much more convenient to use and also offer significant taste and texture benefits over dried and candied fruit. Their long shelf life means craft bakers, confectioners and chefs can now always have real fruit ingredients on hand when they need them.”
