Kalsec® Southwest, located near Denver City, Texas, specializes in the cultivation, harvest, dehydration and extraction of paprika, rosemary and carrot, as well as specialty herbs and spices. At this location we also process a line of solvent-free expeller pressed extracts that are ideal for supporting your green and sustainability platform.
In 1995, we opened an office in the United Kingdom, now known as Kalsec® Europe (KEU). Kalsec® Europe has been providing local support to the European market, with sales, sampling, applications and warehousing capabilities. Located in Mildenhall, United Kingdom, KEU continues to grow to meet the needs of the European market.
In February 2010, we opened an office in Shanghai, China to serve our customers in the Asian market. Additionally, we have a network of agents as well as an applications laboratory in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to meet the growing demands of this emerging market.

13 Oct 2022 --- Jake Kirkendall, a scientist for hops and brew innovation at Kalsec, examines what technologies are driving the beverage space and how consumers are increasingly ditching artificial fruity flavors to seek a more authentic beverage experience. He also dives into Kalsec’s developments, including a beer with underlying floral and crusty bread notes with coriander and orange peel as well as food waste-tackling solutions.
23 May 2022 --- Kalsec has undertaken new research which demonstrates how natural antioxidants can match the performance of synthetic ingredients while containing lower sodium levels, for clean label meat products. Kalsec’s Durashield is a product line that harnesses the enhanced synergies of natural antioxidants combined with natural antimicrobials to improve both shelf life and food safety in a variety of applications, including meat and poultry.
15 Dec 2021 --- Ahead of supply chain turbulence due to Brexit, ingredient supplier Kalsec has moved its EU business from the UK to continental Europe. In a race against the clock, the Netherlands warehouse went from empty to functional in ten weeks. The facility now serves growing demand from Europe, including Ireland, which has proved easier to ship to from Holland than the UK.
