WILD Gets Region Specific with New Trendy Fruit Concepts
The four different varieties in the new WILD range have been given the motto “discovering fruits of the world”. The African mix, for example, includes the exotic marula and pink guava from South Africa.
Aug 26 2011 --- Consumers are increasingly taking a shine to exotic fruits from all corners of the world. Mango, pink guava or marula evoke holiday nostalgia and also appeal to European taste buds. WILD has now developed new juice concepts that pick up on this trend.
The WILD product range will now include juices with exotic fruits from all over the world. What makes them particularly special is the select choice of fruit that is typical, both in origin and use, for a particular continent or region. For instance, Alphonso mangos from India. This provides a clear differentiation over existing products for manufacturers.
The four different varieties in the new WILD range have been given the motto “discovering fruits of the world”. The African mix, for example, includes the exotic marula and pink guava from South Africa. WILD’s Asian mix features Alphonso mangos from India, with lychees, tamarinds and coconut water rounding off the flavor profile and giving the product a typical Asian touch. The portfolio also includes a Caribbean medley of red grapefruit from Cuba and pineapple from Costa Rica, and also a tropical variety with fruits from Ecuador and Brazil, including passion fruit and acerola. All four concepts from the WILD range contain 100% fruit.
