Whole Living Opens New Facility in Japan
Whole Living outlined a plan for global expansion that included opening facilities in several countries in an effort to grow its customer base and increase sales.
27/07/06 Whole Living, Inc. a manufacturer and distributor of all natural whole foods, today announced they have opened a new representative office in Japan to serve the world's second largest direct sales market.
"We are very excited to formally launch our business model in Japan, bringing our unique marine phytoplankton to this island country that truly embraces a marine based diet," stated Whole Living's CEO Ron Williams. "Japan is an ideal market for our FrequenSea product and a market which we believe will dramatically increase our revenues and customer base."
During the first quarter of 2006, Whole Living outlined a plan for global expansion that included opening facilities in several countries in an effort to grow its customer base and increase sales. The new facility, located in Saitama, Japan, will house the sales offices, local customer support, and product fulfillment activities.
"This is an initial step towards increasing Whole Living's international presence," continued Mr. Williams. "We are in the process of opening more international offices and expanding our global operations. There are numerous benefits in opening these offices, including a reduction of costs to ship our product to our Japanese customers and a local sales department to provide distributor training and increase product awareness. We are very excited about the opening of this facility and its potential. International markets account for a large percentage of total sales within the Direct Selling Industry. Our expansion will have a positive impact both in the short and long term growth of Whole Living."
