Wayne M. Hewett Elected to Corn Products International, Inc., Board of Directors

Hewett joined Arysta LifeScience Corporation in 2009 as Chief Operating Officer. Previously, he spent more than 20 years with various international divisions of General Electric Company.

Jul 26 2010 --- Corn Products International, Inc. has announced Wayne M. Hewett has been elected as a member of the Company's Board of Directors effective September 14, 2010.

Hewett is President and Chief Executive Officer of Arysta LifeScience Corporation. Headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, Arysta LifeScience is the world's largest privately held crop protection and life science company, which provides crop protection and life science products in more than 125 countries.

Hewett joined Arysta LifeScience Corporation in 2009 as Chief Operating Officer. Previously, he spent more than 20 years with various international divisions of General Electric Company ("GE"), including roles as President, GE Plastics Pacific; Vice President of GE Supply Chain and Operations; and President and Chief Executive Officer of GE Advanced Materials. He also served as a member of GE's Corporate Executive Council.

Hewett holds a bachelor's and master's degree in industrial engineering, both from Stanford University.
