Vapor Sphere Introduces "A Better Way to Enjoy Alcohol" Without the Hangover, Excess Calories and Blood Sugar Spikes for Diabetics
Many people enjoy spirits, but most of them would jump at the chance to avoid its lingering effects. The device allows adult consumers to vaporize their favorite hard liquors, which produces a comfortable "buzz," but eliminates the impurities and calories that usually come with drinking.
"We tested the Vapor Sphere with both type 1 and type 2 diabetics to see if they could enjoy a nice alcohol buzz without high spikes in their blood sugar levels," says Mel Potts, Vapor Sphere Creator and a type 1 diabetic himself. "All the diabetics we tested were stunned and amazed that they could achieve an alcohol buzz without having to carefully monitor their blood sugar. We think this is an important aspect of the Vapor Sphere, as people with diabetes often can't enjoy alcohol the same way as their friends do."
he Vapor Sphere can be used in any social situation where spirits are being consumed. When people vaporize alcohol, the effects are felt almost immediately. That's because rather than starting in the stomach and slowly metabolizing, vaporized alcohol moves almost instantly from the lungs into the bloodstream. The alcohol exits most people's system almost as quickly – a zero blood alcohol content can be reached within about 15 to 30 minutes of the last vapor hit. In short, people can have a great time at a party or event, then leave sober and have no worries about hangovers or DUIs.
"Safety has been a top priority in the development of the Vapor Sphere," adds Mel Potts. "Before bringing this product to the consumer market, we put the Vapor Sphere and breathalyzers in the hands of focus groups and product testers, to make sure that people who used this product wouldn't be at risk of alcohol poisoning. We challenged people of different ages, height, weight and ethnic backgrounds to try to get their blood alcohol content as high as possible by vaporizing alcohol, to see if they could get to an unsafe level. No one came anywhere close to reaching an unsafe level. Because of these results, we now feel confident bringing the Vapor Sphere to the consumer market."
A limited supply of Vapor Spheres is available from an initial factory run; SYA Products, the company behind this innovative product, has plans to launch a crowdfunding campaign that will accelerate further manufacturing and consumer awareness about the product.
