Unique Menu Solutions from the Wixon Foodservice Group Complement Dinner

07 Nov 2014 --- The Wixon Foodservice Group has introduced its latest flavors and seasonings for dinner, driving ‘back of the house’ freshness for its customers’ business. Not just for main meals, the quick breads, salad dressings, soups, and rubs can also be customized for use across all day parts.

The creative gourmet menu solutions include:

Asiago Cheese Bread Twists Mix: This quick bread mix is imparted with the richness of Asiago and Parmesan cheese. Roll and shape into twists before baking.

Citrus Ginger Teriyaki Salad Dressing: Crisp Asian tastes abound in this sweet soy sauce and ginger blend. Hints of orange and red bell pepper give it a tang.

Del Rio Coffee & Cocoa Steak Rub: A smooth combination of chicory and cocoa seasonings that makes any steak or chicken dish even tastier.

Harvest Moon Chowder Mix: This savory blend features the full-bodied harvest flavors of cheddar, smoky bacon, pumpkin, corn, and chopped green onion.

Hot Hot Peri Peri Rub: Swahili for “pepper-pepper,” this spice mix infuses natural flavors and finely chopped chilies to give heat. Combined with coarse sea salt, ginger, minced garlic, and lemon peel, this is perfect as a rub or combined with vinegar and oil as a marinade or sauce.

Jamaican Pineapple Mango Vegetable Side Dish Seasoning: Sweet meets savory, in this seasoning inspired from the kitchens of Jamaica. Green and red bell peppers, chopped onion, finely-sliced carrots, peas, and corn are combined with brown rice, mango, pineapple, and shrimp. Next, douse with a rich sauce of mango, sweet red pepper, cinnamon, allspice, garlic, and onion.

Vino Blanco & Herb Seafood Seasoning: Wixon’s blend of wine and spices can enhance any seafood specialty. Mix butter, minced garlic, onion, tarragon, and parsley with a dry white wine for a delicate seasoning.

Wild Rice Fruit Delight: Create that holiday feeling year-round with this classic side dish. Wild rice with cranberries and diced apples is a comforting complement to poultry or beef entrées.

“Fresh from the Beginning,” the Wixon Foodservice Group helps create on-trend and authentic food flavors that customers demand.
