05/03/08 National Adhesives’ ULTRA-MELT 85 is a high performance and cost effective, hot melt adhesive, suitable for case and carton sealing. Uniquely, this adhesive is suitable for food packaging for microwave ovens.

Traditional hot melts fail in a microwave oven; however ULTRA-MELT 85 retains stability, ensuring pack integrity for ready-meal cartons at both low and high temperatures.

ULTRA-MELT 85 is also clean running and offers excellent pot life and viscosity stability, providing consistent running conditions that achieve higher productivity with less downtime or pack rejects. Based on the latest copolymer technology, ULTRA-MELT 85 offers a very high heat stress resistance suitable to bond hot filled products, with excellent adhesion to a range of boards - including difficult PE coated boards - at a range of temperatures.
