UK: FSA Issues Goji Berry Allergy Alert
03 Feb 2015 --- Wilton Wholefoods is recalling two batches of its Goji Berries because they contain sulphur dioxide, which is not mentioned on the packaging. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with a sensitivity to sulphur dioxide and/or sulphites.
The products being withdrawn from sale are listed below.

These products contain sulphur dioxide making it a possible health risk for those with a sensitivity to sulphur dioxide and/or sulphites.
Our advice to consumers:
If you have bought one of the above products and have a sensitivity to sulphur dioxide and/or sulphites, do not eat it. Instead, return the product to the supplier or contact the supplier directly for information on 0172555 0357.
Action taken by the company:
The company is recalling the above products and has contacted all of its retail customers to tell them about this. The company has been advised to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall. The company will be circulating point-of-sale notices to its retail customers, so these can be displayed in stores that sell the affected products.
