The Great British Gin Collection Celebrates World Gin Day This Week
10 Jun 2014 --- The Great British Gin Collection is celebrating World Gin Day this Saturday, 14th June 2014. The Great British Gin Collection is distilled at Britain’s oldest gin distillery which has been producing fine gin since 1761 based in Warrington, Cheshire.
The Gin Collection is made up of four gins, each with different flavour profiles to suit all palates:
Greenall’s – The Original Dry Gin – a classic juniper based gin
BLOOM – a light, floral gin
Opihr – an Oriental spiced gin
Berkeley Square – a herbaceous, London Dry Gin
As the producers of 60% of the UK’s gin and 20% of fine gin around the world, we are celebrating World Gin Day with a host of activities, encouraging even more consumers to try Gin – the Great British Spirit.
Greenall’s is announcing the continuation of its cricket sponsorship as the official gin of the Lancashire County Cricket Club at Old Trafford in the UK. BLOOM is celebrating with a range of floral cocktails at bars throughout the UK. Opihr Oriental Spiced Gin is launching a new way of drinking gin with ginger ale to bring out its ginger and spice flavours. Berkeley Square is announcing the launch of its new 46% strength, selected by its Master Distiller and a panel of Mayfair gin connoisseurs and bartenders.
