13 Jun 2012 --- Stevia Nutra Corporation, an Agro-Management company focussed on stevia agronomics, announced that Dr. Hilary Rodrigues, founder of Sedna Nutraceuticals Inc, has been named CEO.
“A successful entrepreneur in the health food and beverage sector, Dr. Rodrigues’ vast contacts throughout North America, the EU, and Southeast Asia will benefit the Company as it prepares to distribute its high grade stevia products to industry customers,” said Company President, Brian Dicks.
Dr. Rodrigues began his career as a rural dentist in Whitbourne, Newfoundland in 1974. His voluntary service includes being a delegate for the International Red Cross, a member of the Canadian Agri-Foods Marketing Council and Mayor and Deputy Mayor of his Municipality. He launched the Rodrigues Winery in 1993 and served on the Premier’s Committee, “Social Strategic Plan for Newfoundland and Labrador”, in 2002. In 2011, Dr. Rodrigues founded Sedna Nutraceuticals Inc.
