Rousselot Opts for IFS International Food Standard
In the United States, Rousselot Dubuque (IA - USA) was the first plant of the group to obtain IFS certification in October 2010, and was followed by Rousselot Gent (Belgium) in November 2011. Shortly thereafter (December 2011), Amparo Blending and Epitacio manufacturing sites obtained their IFS certification as well. All of these facilities were approved at "IFS Food higher level", which means a rate above 95%.

According to Tanja Vervust, Rousselot Quality Manager, “Quality and customers satisfaction have always been our highest priorities. As more and more customers are asking us to comply with recognized food safety standards, it was therefore important for us to commit in these schemes. We are now working very hard to ensure that all Rousselot’s other manufacturing sites gain the IFS Certificate as well.”
All Rousselot manufacturing plants should comply with the IFS International Food Standard by 2014.
