PureCircle to Share Global Stevia Supply Chain Insights at World's First Global Stevia Forum

31/03/09 Following the launch of several high profile consumer product brands containing PureVia Reb A, PureCircle, the world's leading producer of Reb A, has been invited to share current insights on its rapidly developing global stevia supply chain at Stevia World 2009 on May 14-15, in Shanghai.

At Stevia World, PureCircle Corporate VP Supply Chain, Dorn Wenninger, will share PureCircle's global stevia supply chain and key success factors in a presentation entitled, "Key Success of Reb A to Multinational Food & Beverage Companies."
"Both stevia leaf production and Reb A sales are expanding at an exponential rate on the heels of FDA's 'no objection' letter of Reb A 97% in the U.S. market," said Wenninger. "As the world's leading supplier of Reb A, PureCircle is excited about the exchange of ideas and networking opportunity between the world's leading scientists, producers and other key players in the industry in Shanghai on May 14 and 15."
Wenninger is responsible for all supply-side operations including breeding, propagation, production, joint ventures, extraction and refinery factories, and logistics at PureCircle. In this position, he is also responsible for directing all corporate works with independent farmers in Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Laos, China, Paraguay, and Kenya to grow high-quality stevia leaf, and works closely with local communities to maximize socioeconomic and environmental benefits for these communities.
