Pura Vida Tequila Launches Crowdfunding Campaign
06 May 2015---Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top, calls it “the best damn tequila I have ever tasted.” Now you can have a shot at making Pura Vida Tequila available to the masses by helping fund an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign that kicks off on Cinco de Mayo!
The goal of the campaign, which runs May 5 through June 10, is to raise at least $250,000 to capitalize Pura Vida’s newly acquired distillery, expand operations, and distribute to even more locations across the U.S. and worldwide. Since its launch in 2011, Pura Vidahas captured numerous spirit competition awards and the loyalty of connoisseurs as an ultra-premium, triple-distilled tequila made exclusively from 100% Blue Weber agave harvested from the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico.
“Our goal is to bring our Pura Vida line of products nationwide, and in order to do that, it’s time to acquire our own distillery. In March 2015, four years after creating its award-winning flavor profiles at a nearby distillery, the Pura Vida Tequila Company set into motion the acquisition of the new, state-of-the-art distillery in Jalisco, Mexico.
