Multivac will be presenting its sustainable and innovative ranges at this years Fachpack trade fair, which will run from the 28th to the 30th of September in Nuremberg. A T 800 Traysealer will be showcased as the centrepiece of an integrated packaging line and an R 535 thermoform packaging machine will be used to demonstrate how equipping times can be reduced. In addition, Multivac will present the patented Xbelt labeller as well as a comprehensive portfolio of labelling solutions. Multivac will be presenting its e-concept machine prototype at the special “Sustainable Production and Packaging” exhibition which is being held as part of the FachPack trade fair.
The Traysealer T 800 will be presented in an integrated line with a denester (Carsoe), a MR292 direct printing system, a check scale and integrated metal detector and a top / bottom MR335 TQ labeller. The sealed and labelled trays are assembled with a H 130 handling module in boxes, which are then labelled with a MR313 SE box labeller. The T 800 model attains a top throughput of 120 standard trays per minute with a 6-function die.
A wide range of innovations in the fields of flexibility, operating convenience and reduction of equipping times will be showcased with the R 535 rollstock machine. An intelligent die change system, electronically positioned cross cutter, proportional pressure regulator for the sealing die and the new MBS (Multivac Belt System) ensure smooth-running processes and minimal equipping times. A MR293 direct film printing system and the patented XbeltTM labeller are integrated in the R 535 line. The XbeltTM is a combination of several forward-looking innovations and sets new standards for labelling thermoform packages.
In its role as a centre of expertise for labelling technology, MR – the Enger-based Multivac subsidiary – will also presenting some of its products as stand-alone solutions. The MR239 demonstration unit will be used to show the different printing technologies produced by MR. The unit is powered by the MR PrintingPoint, which supplies data to various printers in different packaging lines.
The MR436 linear system, which is particularly suitable for highly accurate labelling of plastic bottles or beakers of differing formats (for example, containers for the cosmetics industry), will also be on show at the trade fair stand.
Top and bottom labelling of the product running through in uninterrupted operation will be demonstrated with the MR337 SQ labeller, which is also equipped with various monitoring devices for checking labelling and print quality.
The e-concept from Multivac can be seen at the special "Sustainable Production and Packaging" exhibition at the Fachpack trade fair. This is a prototype of a rollstock machine, which only uses electrical drive technology, and which features innovative forming and sealing processes that mean that no compressed air or cooling water supply is necessary.
