Morinaga Milk Industry's Subsidiary to Build Milk Carton Plant
To be built with an investment of 4 billion yen ($36.0 mil), the new plant will manufacture bottles and cartons for milk and beverages. Construction will begin in early August and be finished by September 2007.
09/06/06 Morinaga Milk Industry has announced that its subsidiary Miyaraku Milk Industry will construct a new plant for manufacturing milk cartons and bottles on a site owned by Morinaga in Sendai.
To be built with an investment of 4 billion yen ($36.0 mil), the new plant will manufacture bottles and cartons for milk and beverages. Construction will begin in early August and be finished by September 2007.
In line with this move, Morinaga will cease the production of market milk at its Koriyama Plant by the end of September, and the plant will specialize in manufacturing specialty milk powder and other products.
