26 Feb 2015 --- Mispillion River Brewing is releasing their imperial red ale, Holy Crap!, in cans in March 2015.
Holy Crap! evolved by accident, when Mispillion’s brewer blended two different styles of beer. This 9.0% ABV imperial red ale leads with caramel malts that create the type of backbone you expect to see at the Museum of Natural History and finishes with the dry bitterness of a million year extinction. Amarillo hops impart tropical notes.
El Presidente, Eric Williams, stated, “After months of attempted re-creations, we learned: you can’t suppress 65 million years of a brewer’s gut instinct. Hold on to your butts.”
Holy Crap will be available in twelve ounce four-packs and on draft in Delaware.
