14/03/07 Mendis International, Inc., in conjunction with the renowned premium distiller W. M. Mendis & Co. Ltd., announced the U.S. pre-launch of the world's first clear ultra-premium coconut brandy.

Mendis coconut brandy is distilled from the essence of the coconut flower in French pot stills and matured for a minimum of 2 years in Hamilla wood casks. Mendis has a subtle taste of coconut with a velvety sweet texture and unmatched smoothness. The product can be experienced neat or on the rocks and offers limitless options for mixing as a clear spirit.

Mendis International is backing the pre-launch of Mendis coconut brandy with a web promotion being released on March 19th. Mendis will have street- level marketing campaigns focused in the New York City area and will continue to support the brand's launch with a unique promotion running through 2007 into 2008. Mendis coconut brandy will be available for sale in Fall 2007 in 750ml bottles.
