Maxxium Unveils Harveys Bristol Cream Limited Edition Coronation Bottle
29 May 2013 --- Maxxium UK announces the launch of a beautifully designed limited edition bottle of its leading sherry, Harveys Bristol Cream to mark the 60th anniversary of Her Majesty The Queen’s Coronation.
As a Royal Warrant holder, Harveys are developing the elegant 75cl bottle to drive awareness during the summer months and reinvigorate the sherry fixture. From July the pack, made from the instantly-recognisable Bristol blue glass, will replace the existing design and be available across the take home sector, including multiple grocers, cash & carry outlets and specialist convenience stores.
Maxxium are to showcase the bottle at this year’s prestigious Coronation Festival taking place in the Gardens of Buckingham Palace from 11-14 July and distribute samples of its signature serve, Harveys over ice with a slice of orange amongst the 60,000 attendees.
Throughout the summer Maxxium will also drive visibility in-store with point of sale, and engage with consumers through targeted advertising in in-store magazines as well as online competitions offering exclusive prizes such as a weekend break at the Goring Hotel.
Maxxium marketing controller, Eileen Livingston says: “As a privileged holder of a Royal Warrant, we are delighted to offer this beautiful Coronation Edition to consumers as the perfect souvenir to mark the 60th anniversary of The Queen’s Coronation. Harveys is the UK’s number one sherry and this activity not only celebrates our commitment to recruiting new consumers and re-engaging with existing drinkers but also to building interest outside the Christmas season.”
Harveys Bristol Cream is a complex blend of 30 fine wines and the market-leader in the UK.
