Nov 3 2010 --- An action program has been started to ensure that Lantmännen Lantbruk can reach its targets to be more competitive. One important feature of this program is the creation of a new and flatter organization. In this new organization, Lantmännen SW Seed will be integrated into Lantmännen Lantbruk Sweden’s operations.
Monika Lekander, Head of Agriculture Sector at Lantmännen, has started an action program to create a customer-focused and profitable Lantmännen Lantbruk.
“We have to change our culture and working method with the customer in focus. To do this, we need to have an organization that supports our mission. This is why we are now creating a flatter and clearer organization,” says Monika Lekander.
In the new Lantmännen Lantbruk organization, Lantmännen SW Seed will be integrated into Lantmännen Lantbruk Sweden. Lantmännen SW Seed will therefore no longer be an independent organization.
“The structural changes in Sweden will not affect Lantmännen SW Seed’s international companies, which will continue their operations as before,” says Monika Lekander.
The new main organization will be based on Lantmännen Lantbruk’s main processes. Work is now underway to staff this main organization and to build and staff the organizational structure at other levels. It is expected that the whole of the new organization will be negotiated and completed before Christmas.
Trade-union negotiations have been held for this new organization and for the integration of Lantmännen SW Seed into Lantmännen Lantbruk Sweden.
