Indofood, Nestle to form 50-50 joint venture
The new company, which will be named PT Nestle Indofood Citarasa Indonesia, is expected to commence operations by April 1.
28/02/05 Indonesia, PT Indofood Sukses Makmur will form a 50-50 joint venture company with Switzerland's Nestle S.A. to produce and sell food products in Indonesia and eventually for export.
The joint venture company, which will be named PT Nestle Indofood Citarasa Indonesia, is slated to commence operations by April 1, Indofood said in a statement.
Indofood will license to the new joint venture its food brands, such as "Indofood", "Piring Lombok", while Nestle will license initially its "MAGGI" brand.
