Hormel, Lakeside partnership ends

10/03/05 A 56 year partnership with Hormel Foods Corporation comes to a close.
Lakeside Foods in Owatonna has partnered with Hormel in the packaging of it's Dinty Moore can line. Lakeside announced that the tie with Hormel has ended due to Hormel's move to alternative packaging and internal production.
Lakesides Hormel production will end the week of July 23rd and nearly 100 employees will be laid off August 1st.
