In June, Hartwall will bring this organic cider to shops – a long-awaited addition to the popular Happy Joe family of products. The new cider, made from the best natural ingredients, will charm especially consumers who appreciate genuine flavours and a natural character.
Happy Joe Organic, with a fresh apple taste, is a dry cider made from carefully selected, premium organic ingredients in a process that honours the traditional methods of cider production.
“People’s interest in all things organic is constantly increasing. Cider lovers appreciate genuine traditional flavours more and more. Happy Joe Organic is a response to this demand as this new product combines the best organic ingredients with the genuine apple flavour of an English-style cider,” says Juhani Mertsalmi, Brand Manager for the Happy Joe family of products at Hartwall.
“Happy Joe Organic will diversify the selection of organic ciders and is a long-awaited addition to the already immensely popular Happy Joe family of products,” Mertsalmi adds.
A natural choice to accompany a meal
The naturally delicious Happy Joe Organic is perfect for moments of sweet pampering and cheerful fun times. This dry organic cider with fresh flavours of apple is also a great choice to be served with meals in the summer.
“The premium organic cider is an excellent accompaniment to summertime delicacies. Try pairing Happy Joe Organic with barbecued chicken, for instance. A heavenly choice for a dessert is organic cider and strawberries with whipped cream,” suggests Sami Tallberg, a chef known for his natural gourmet style.
Happy Joe Organic cider is produced at Hartwall’s brewery in Lahti according to the criteria of organic production. The EU organic logo on the product indicates that at least 95 per cent of the product’s ingredients of agricultural origin have been organically produced.
The alcohol content of Happy Joe Organic cider is 4.7%. The new drink will appear in stores from the beginning of June. The organic cider comes in an elegant 0.275 litre glass bottle. The recommended retail price is EUR 2.45.
