20 Jun 2012 --- Ganeden Biotech, a recognized world leader in the manufacturing and marketing of probiotics, announced that its industry leading probiotic GanedenBC30 has been selected by Tipton Mills for use in their private label and direct to consumer instant chai lattes, lattes, cappuccinos, and teas in various flavors.

Tipton Mills will unveil its new line of GanedenBC30 probiotic-enriched chai latte and hot and cold teas at the Fancy Food Show, June 17-19, 2012 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington D.C., Booth #1704. Samples will be available for tasting.

GanedenBC30 has a naturally occurring layer of organic material that protects the genetic core of the bacteria. This protective layer provides the probiotic with the ability to survive extreme temperatures involved in food and beverage manufacturing processes, shelf life, stomach acids and intestinal bile. Other probiotics, such as Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium, are unable to form this protective layer, making it more difficult for them to reach the gut where they can provide a benefit.
