Fenchem Introduces In-Oligo Organic FOS

Fenchem’s In-Oligo is produced using advanced Nanofiltration Membrane Technology and aseptic-filling equipment to ensure the product of high stability and safety. It is available in liquid and the price is much competitive.

23 Nov 2009 --- Follwing receiving organic certificate for inulin, Fenchem now introduce In-Oligo organic Fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS). Fenchem’s In-Oligo is derived from organic Jerusalem Artichoke (Helianthus tuberosus Linn.) by hydrolyzing inulin with ß-Fructofuranosidase. Its polymer chain length is relatively lower, which ensures In-Oligo can be easily absorbed by bifidobacteria and Lactobacteria, and thus makes beneficial bacterial  in colon proliferating and increases the stability. In-Oligo also promotes the absoption of minerals.

Fructooligosaccharides (FOS) is a class of non-digestible carbohydrates passing through the human digestive virtually unchanged. When the fructooligosaccharides reach the colon, they are used by beneficial bacteria for growth and multiplication. A healthy population of these beneficial bacteria in the digestive tract enhances the digestion and absorption of nutrients, detoxification and elimination processes, and helps boost the immune system. Fructooligosaccharides provide almost no calories and are thus used as substitute sweeteners. Fructooligosaccharides have approximately one-half the sweetness of sugar.
