Elopak Opens New Coating Line in Denmark
The new additional coating line will further increase Elopak’s in-house coating capacity of raw material.
5 Dec 2012 --- Elopak has opened its new coating line in Aarhus, Denmark following the completion of its latest manufacturing plant. The new additional coating line will further increase Elopak’s in-house coating capacity of raw material.
The construction of the manufacturing plant started just one year ago and the new building, which houses the coating line, is directly connected to the existing converting plant of Elopak Denmark. Both plants share a warehouse facility enabling the minimizing of lead times and reduction of waste.
Due to thelocation of the plant, which is close to its main Scandinavian board suppliers, Elopak has gained further logistic and environmental advantages.
The new state-of-the-art facility contains the most advanced and modern equipment in coating technology. By upgrading and investing in technology and operations Elopak will increase its reliability as a packaging supplier and provide a platform for growth and future developments in coating technology.
The new coating line is another important step to fulfil Elopak’s vision to continuously optimize its supply chain, increasing efficiency and further improving the quality of its packaging systems.
