DSM and Novozymes Launch a New Feed Enzyme to Lower Protein Costs in Broiler Diets
RONOZYME ProAct unlocks the nutritional value of a large variety of feed proteins by complementing the activity of digestive enzymes, such as pepsin and pancreatic proteases.
22/10/08 DSM and Novozymes announce the launch of RONOZYME ProAct, the first pure protease for the poultry industry. It meets the requirements of modern broiler feeding and reduces feed costs by maximizing protein utilization and improving nutritional value while enhancing animal performance. With the product DSM and Novozymes confirm their leadership through innovation in the field of feed enzymes.
RONOZYME ProAct unlocks the nutritional value of a large variety of feed proteins by complementing the activity of digestive enzymes, such as pepsin and pancreatic proteases.
Due to increasing costs of raw materials the poultry industry is under high pressure these days. Higher feeding costs reduce profit and place stress on the entire industry. This new feed enzyme gives a way to actively minimize these rising feed costs.
RONOZYME ProAct is being launched first in Brazil, but registration processes have been initiated globally. RONOZYME ProAct is the newest feed enzyme in the great range of RONOZYME enzymes and is fully compatible with phytases and other feed enzymes commonly used.
The overall RONOZYME product range of feed enzymes is developed within the Alliance of DSM Nutritional Products and Novozymes and represents the most complete feed enzyme portfolio within the feed industry.
“The vision of the Alliance is to provide innovative enzymes to the feed industry by joining the strengths of the two companies. RONOZYME ProAct is a perfect outcome of this vision,” says Peter Christensen, Alliance Manager at Novozymes.
“Novozymes and DSM colleagues from all over the world have been part of this development and together we have created a truly innovative solution to the feed industry,” states Christos Antipatis, Alliance Manager at DSM Nutritional Products.
