12 Jul 2016 --- Danone's purchase of WhiteWave can be viewed as a "defensive" move as it looks to be less "heavily" dependant on traditional dairy sourced products such as infant formula and yogurts but experts believe it will open up opportunities to expand into new categories, such as plant based ingredients and products.
