Coca-Cola adds new mini cans for Coca-Cola Classic, Diet Coke and Sprite
At 237 mL the mini can is one-third smaller than the traditional 355 mL cans and stands only 9 cm or 3.5 inches tall.
11/03/05 Stores across Canada are now carrying the newest addition to the Coca-Cola family - the 237 mL mini can - making it easier for consumers to enjoy their Coca-Cola Classic, Diet Coke or Sprite wherever they are and proving that a little refreshment can go a long, long way.
At 237 mL the mini can is one-third smaller than the traditional 355 mL cans and stands only 9 cm or 3.5 inches tall. The contents of a mini can also fits perfectly into a traditional 8 oz glass found in most homes across Canada, with just enough room left over for an ice cube or two.
In the past few years, Coca-Cola consumers have told the company that they want choices in the sizes of the beverage containers they have to choose from. They want different sizes to fit the different activities they are engaged in. As a result, Coca-Cola had developed new packaging and formats to respond to those requests - including the addition of the mini can, which is perfect for those looking for just a little refreshment, as well as the recently introduced Fridge Mate packaging, which makes it easier for consumers to store their favourite Coca-Cola products in the refrigerator.
The Mini Cans are rolling out to grocery stores across Canada and are available in six-can packs.
