Bunge Strikes Asia-Pacific Commercial Deal
03 Oct 2016 --- Bunge has struck an import and export deal with a Filipino food company as it looks to expand its footprint in Asia-Pacific. The global agribusiness giant's subsidiary business in Singapore has inked a deal with D&L Industries, a Filipino company which customizes products for the food industry.
Bunge Agribusiness Singapore and Oleo-Fats Inc (OFI), a subsidiary of D&L Industries, have struck a deal across foodservice, retail and the food processing industries in the Asia-Pacific region.
Specifically, OFI will become Bunge’s exclusive commercial partner to import, market, sell and distribute packaged softseed oils into the Philippines.
Additionally, Bunge will become OFI’s exclusive commercial partner to export, market, sell and distribute coconut oil under its Farm Origin brand into countries in the Asia-Pacific region.
