Bumble Bee Foods Announces National Introduction of New Prime Fillet Pink Salmon Steaks

San Diego , Calif. – You can now enjoy salmon without the fuss of preparation thanks to new premium and ready-to-heat, entrée-style whole salmon steaks that bring a high-quality seafood meal to the dinner table in minutes. Popular American household brand Bumble Bee has announced its national introduction of Prime Fillet Pink Salmon Steaks aimed at providing consumers with high-quality, affordable and easy-to-prepare seafood entrée options.

According to Bumble Bee Chief Executive Officer Christopher Lischewski, the new ready-to-heat salmon steaks are an extension of the brand's successful entry into the ‘dinner' category last year with Prime Fillet Albacore Steaks. He said, "We're pleased with how consumers have responded to our first entrée product under our premium Prime Fillet label and are thrilled to follow up on the success of that tuna product with a salmon offering."

Bumble Bee Prime Fillet Pink Salmon Steaks come in individual servings of 100 percent natural, grilled and firm whole pink salmon steak packaged in easy-open, vacuum-sealed pouches. The steaks are available in two seasoned varieties – Teriyaki and Lemon & Dill.
