Bimbo Names Palsgaard as Supplier of the Year

The 2010 Grupo Bimbo Supplier of the Year Award was presented to Palsgaard at a ceremony at Grupo Bimbo’s Barcel plant in Toluca, Mexico on 30th November.

12/15/2010 --- Palsgaard announced that the company has been named ‘Supplier of the Year’ by Grupo Bimbo for its role in helping the world’s largest bakery manufacturer develop new products in a safe and socially responsible way.

The 2010 Grupo Bimbo Supplier of the Year Award was presented to Palsgaard at a ceremony at Grupo Bimbo’s Barcel plant in Toluca, Mexico on 30th November. Mr. Javier Gonzalez, Director of Bimbo, S.A., explained why Palsgaard was chosen to receive the distinction:

“With this award, Grupo Bimbo recognises Palsgaard for their supply of quality products, their level of technical service, and their innovation capacity which has contributed to Grupo Bimbo fulfilling our objectives. Palsgaard, recognised a safe and clean company, has demonstrated commitment to the environment and to their social responsibility activities.”

For several years Grupo Bimbo has selected, from more than one thousand suppliers, the company which best demonstrates the high standards established by the bakery firm.
