Beatson Clark Supplies Owen Potts White Flint Bottles
Beatson Clark is supplying its 250ml white flint dressing bottle with a standard twist off 43mm neck finish for the prestigious range.
Nov 22 2011 --- Proving that glass is seen across the food sector as a premium packaging material, Owen Potts has chosen white flint bottles from glass manufacturer Beatson Clark for its new range of high-end sauces and dressings.
The Wiltshire company has launched a range of three cooking sauces and three dressings which are being sold exclusively through Sainsburys for 12 months.
Beatson Clark is supplying its 250ml white flint dressing bottle with a standard twist off 43mm neck finish for the prestigious range.
“We love the bottle: it has a tall, slim silhouette that suits the simple label and it really makes the products stand out from the crowd,” said Michelle Potts, wife of Owen Potts who set up the family business in 2007.
“We insisted on having glass bottles for the sauces and dressings as it’s a high-quality material that fits the premium nature of the product.
“The wide neck of the bottle is perfect as it makes pouring the thicker sauces and dressings easier.”
Owen Potts sauces come in three flavours – Steak, Bravas and Maple Chipotle – and there are three dressings: English, Italian and Spanish.
“We’ve supplied glass containers to Owen Potts since he first launched four years ago and we’re really pleased that the company has chosen us to provide the bottles for its new range,” said Beatson Clark Sales and Marketing Director Lynn Sidebottom.
“These bottles are part of our extensive general sale range, which is very popular with our customers. The range features some great designs which offer fantastic stand-out on shelf, and they’re a good way to test the market without investing a lot of time and money in a completely new design.”
Owen Potts has worked in the food industry for over 15 years and has steadily made his name as an inventor of inspired recipes. He has developed recipes for sauces, jams, condiments and dressings for brands large and small and is regarded as a source of knowledge in the food industry.
