19/01/06 BAILEYS® Original Irish Cream, the world's number one selling cream liqueur, has announced the addition of two new flavors, Baileys Caramel and Baileys Mint Chocolate. These new flavors will be made available in time for St. Patrick's Day and for a limited time only, beginning in March 2006.
Baileys Caramel and Baileys Mint Chocolate are blended with Baileys Original Irish Cream keeping the award-winning recipe yet complementing it with the added taste of caramel and mint chocolate.
Since its first introduction nearly 30 years ago, Baileys has successfully combined the luxurious flavors of vanilla, chocolate, fresh cream and Irish whiskey to become one of the most popular spirits in the world. Now, with the addition of these two new products, Baileys Caramel and Baileys Mint Chocolate, there's a whole new dimension to the Baileys cocktail experience.
Having already been introduced in Arizona last month, the new flavors will be available nationwide as a limited edition St. Patrick's Day offering at grocery, liquor, club and drug stores. The product will be available in 750 ml bottles retailing for approximately $18.99.
The launch of the new flavors will coincide with a fully integrated marketing effort that includes merchandising and sampling (in select locations).
