Ajinomoto plans to make amino acids in Brazil

Production expected to start by April.
07/02/05 Japanese seasoning maker Ajinomoto has said that it will start making amino acids in Brazil.
The company said that glutamine will be used in both food and drugs, and production is expected to start by April.
Ajinomoto will begin production of the amino acid at its plant in Sao Paulo, and it expects output to reach 4,000 tons per year. The company reportedly has a 60 percent share of the global glutamine market.
