Redux Beverages Announces New Sports Energy Drink: Brawndo

“Brawndo: The Thirst Mutilator is a perfect fit for the Redux brand of products which stand for quality and attitude,” said Redux Founder, Jamey Kirby. “With Brawndo we have a product that we already know people want, and even those who don’t know the movie will easily fall for its great taste and superior energizing attributes.”
Through a partnership with 20th Century Fox Films and OMNI Consumer Products, Redux Beverages will bring the drink to market in December of this year in the form of a bright green, sports/energy hybrid beverage with 200mg of caffeine, electrolytes, inositol, guarana, and a smooth lemon-lime flavor. Brawndo will be available in a yellow, 16 oz aluminum can citing the catchphrase from the movie: “It’s got what plants crave!”
Brawndo joins Redux Beverages’ existing sports and energy drinks which include Cocaine (recently renamed No Name Energy Drink for the US market—but still marketed under the Cocaine brand in Europe). A drink that has enjoyed controversy and a cult following, due to its name, superior flavor and its high caffeine content (three and a half times the amount of the leading competitor).
