Ybbstaler Agrana Juice GmbH Joint Venture Management Appointed

Stephan Büttner (39), who has been CEO of Ybbstaler Fruit Austria GmbH since 2004, will be taking on the same role at YBBSTALER AGRANA JUICE GmbH. As CEO he will be responsible for sales, marketing, product development and human resources.

4 June 2012 --- Following the closing of the joint venture deal between AGRANA Juice Holding GmbH and Ybbstaler Fruit Austria GmbH, the management team of the new company has now been appointed. With immediate effect, Stephan Büttner, as CEO, Franz Ennser, as COO, and Roland Simon, as CFO, will be taking over the management of YBBSTALER AGRANA JUICE GmbH.

Stephan Büttner (39), who has been CEO of Ybbstaler Fruit Austria GmbH since 2004, will be taking on the same role at YBBSTALER AGRANA JUICE GmbH. As CEO he will be responsible for sales, marketing, product development and human resources. “The new joint venture will bundle the skills and expertise of two successful companies. As a result, YBBSTALER AGRANA JUICE GmbH positions itself as an important player in the global market for fruit juice concentrates,” says Büttner.

As COO, Franz Ennser (41), previously General Manager of the AGRANA Juice Division, will be responsible for purchasing, production and quality management. Roland Simon (45), formerly CFO of the AGRANA Juice Division, will in future also be responsible for finance as well as legal affairs and IT.

The aim is to tap numerous synergies due to the merger of AGRANA Juice Holding GmbH and Ybbstaler Fruit Austria GmbH. The objective of YBBSTALER AGRANA JUICE GmbH is to more intensively manage international markets and consequently create additional potential for growth. The company intends to establish itself as a leading supplier of fruit juice concentrates, fruit purees, beverage ingredients and direct juices.

YBBSTALER AGRANA JUICE GmbH is a joint venture of AGRANA Beteiligungs-AG (AGRANA) and RWA Raiffeisen Ware Austria AG (RWA), and is consolidated by the AGRANA Group. The company produces fruit juice concentrates, fruit purees and natural flavourings as well as beverage ingredients and direct juices for use by the beverages industry. The joint venture, which employs around 800 personnel, has its head offices at Kröllendorf in Lower Austria and 14 facilities in Austria, Denmark, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Romania, the Ukraine and China.
