Feb 7 2012 --- WILD Flavors International GmbH has appointed Ignacio Zaldua (49) as Vice President, Business Development for the Latin American Region, and Peter Naylor (46) as Vice President, Business Development for the Middle East region to further strengthen its position in these growing markets. Moreover, Stefanie Weitz (35) will join WILD Flavors GmbH as Head of Investor Relations and Group Communication.

 

Effective January 15, 2012, Ignacio Zaldua assumes the newly created function as Vice President, Business Development for the Latin American Region, WILD Flavors International GmbH. He joined WILD Valencia 16 years ago as Commercial Manager for Spain and Portugal and was then promoted to Managing Director of WILD Valencia.

 

In his new role Ignacio Zaldua will be responsible for developing and implementing an aggressive growth strategy for WILD in the fast growing markets of Central and South America (excluding Brazil).

 

As of February 1, 2012, Peter Naylor will assume the newly created function as Vice President, Business Development for the Middle East region, WILD Flavors International GmbH. His career began 12 years ago at WILD UK as Sales Manager for the UK market. In 2004 he was promoted to Managing Director of WILD UK. His most recent position was with the European Strategic Business Unit as Category Manager for WILD’s sweetening systems, preparing the groundwork for a successful launch of stevia in Europe. In his new function Peter Naylor will be responsible for further developing and implementing WILD’s ambitious growth strategy in the attractive Middle East region and for assuring optimal support for the company’s teams in the region.

 

As of March 1, 2012 Stefanie Weitz will join WILD Flavors GmbH as Head of Investor Relations and Group Communication. In this newly created position, she will be responsible to further expand WILD’s strong brand reputation. Stefanie Weitz worked for Dow Jones Newswires and the Wall Street Journal as financial reporter and correspondent in Italy and Switzerland before she joined Givaudan, where she was leading the global communication department since 2007.
