16 Dec 2019 --- As travel becomes more accessible than ever, consumers have increasingly high expectations for the quality of international food at home. This led Alessandro Celano to found Kookaloney, a Middle Eastern-themed meal kit start-up, which was presenting at Anuga 2019. However, a primary difficulty was accessing genuine recipes due to the tradition of passing on food know-how down within a family. The company was also highlighted by Innova Market Insights for its innovative and creative packaging, which aims to convey both the recipe and the story behind the meal.

At ISM 2019 in Cologne Innova Market Insights presented the latest confectionery insights on product development from around the globe. Irene Kersbergen from the market research firm discusses how several of the top ten trends are shaping confectionery and snacks product development.
26 Nov 2018 --- Pulses are taking center stage. In 2018, nearly 12 percent of all new global ready meal launches tracked by Innova Market Insights feature pulses. For example, Pedon (Italy) won the SIAL Innovation Award in the savory category with their introduction of rice-shaped pulses at SIAL 2018. 13 Aug 2018 --- Silesia notes how Innova Market Insights’ “Beyond the Coffeehouse” trend is leading to a reinvention of how we see coffee flavor, taking it into new and different segments. For their fresh roasted pecans concept, presented at IFT, the flavor supplier took rich and creamy flavor and complemented it with cinnamon spice and slightly sweet caramel flavors and fresh roasted onto pecans – “making for a tempting sweet treat.” The company also presented a cold brew coffee concept and a vinegar-based shrub beverage as a “red rhuby refresher,” where “seedy, fruity strawberry is perfectly complemented by the tart rhubarb stalks.”

With the latest research and live demonstrations, ABC’s industry and culinary experts were available to address questions about California almonds. Throughout IFT 2018, Chef Rob Corliss of All Things Epicurean was available for individual or small-group California Almond Solution Sessions, offering a deep-dive into the inspiration of this year’s IFT samples and assistance for other almond-related inquiries.
